1st Annual HR Weekend of Women

THis year, the local virginia chapter of the ckcc hosted it's 1st annual hr weekend of women.
the first event was a progressive women's tea to fundraise and discuss ways to control our local political climate.
The second event was an open mic safe space for women to discuss their reproductive health and also to drop off donations of feminine products, which were donated to the her shelter.
The third event was the 2nd annual Girls take granby women's march.
lastly, we closed the weekend with a mixer held at waterside district.
This year's event was a success with the help of other local organizations and volunteers. We look forward to next year being bigger and better!
